Parwan provincial officials said Bagram airbase was hit be several rockets early Saturday morning.

Wahid Shahkar, spokesman for the Parwan governor, said that unknown insurgents wanted to fire off 12 rockets on Bagram air base but only managed to shoot off five rockets.

According to Shahkar, details about financial losses and casualties at the airbase is not clear yet but residents in the surrounding area did not suffer loses.

Sources confirmed to Ariana News that Taliban attacked the airbase.

But Taliban had not commented about the attack yet.
